De as is eenvoudig te monteren met een 6 mm inbussleutel en sluit perfect aan op Newmen-naafsystemen. Dankzij de slimme constructie blijft de wrijving in het frame minimaal, wat bijdraagt aan een langere levensduur van zowel de steekas als het frame. Voor optimale prestaties wordt aangeraden om bij montage een kleine hoeveelheid montage- of lagervet aan te brengen op de schroefdraad.
